How fast can someone come look at my door?

Do you work on doors from the 1980s and 90s?
Yes, and it's most of what we see. A lot of the housing stock across this area dates from 1980 through 2014, with plenty built around 1998, so torsion and extension spring setups from that era are routine for us, not a special case.
Will you give me a price over the phone?
Not a firm one. Spring and opener jobs vary too much by brand, age, and what's actually failed for a phone quote to be honest. We'll give you a real number once we've looked at the door in person.
Do you cover areas outside Austin proper, like Lago Vista or Briarcliff?
We do reach out that far - Lago Vista is about 18 miles from our downtown location and Briarcliff about 19 - but same-day service gets harder the further out you are. Call and we'll tell you honestly what we can do that day versus what needs scheduling ahead.
My opener is old - repair or replace?
If the motor's burnt out or the board is failing on an opener that's already had multiple repairs, replacement usually costs less over time than another patch job. We'll tell you which situation you're in once we've opened it up, not before.

From there the radius stretches out to cover the rest of the area: Zilker, Bouldin Creek, and Mueller within three miles; East Austin, Davenport Ranch, Barton Hills, and St. Johns around four; then further out to West Lake Hills, Lost Creek, Sunset Valley, and Barton Creek in the four-to-seven-mile range.
On the outer edge we still take calls in Steiner Ranch, Wells Branch, Shady Hollow, Manchaca, Manor, Bee Cave, Hudson Bend, Garfield, Bear Creek, Pflugerville, Brushy Creek, Creedmoor, Belterra, Point Venture, Webberville, Jonestown, Mustang Ridge, Lago Vista, and Briarcliff - that last one sits about 19 miles out, which is close to the far end of where we'll book a same-day job. If you're past that, call and ask; it depends on the day's schedule, not a hard line on a map.
What We Actually Do
Springs, cables, rollers, tracks, hinges, openers, and full door replacements - that's the bulk of the work. Given how much of the local housing stock dates to the 1980s through 2014 across roughly 23 named areas we cover, a large share of our calls are extension or torsion spring replacements on doors installed with the house, plus opener swaps once the original unit finally quits.
